Disrupting HR 2017

In March 2017 founder Faye Holland once again takes part in HR Tech World as emcee of the disruptHR stage. As part of this responsibility Faye prepares blogs on all the up and coming disruptHR companies as well as the preliminary judging to secure the Top 5 competitors who will take part in pitching to an esteemed panel of judges where one of them will walk away with a £10,000 prize to spend at a future HR Tech World event.

All the posts are on the HR Tech World blog but here is a quick list of the blogs

DISRUPTHR 2017 COMPETITION FINALISTS ARE ANNOUNCED FOR HR TECH WORLD LONDON

It’s back again! disruptHR returns at HR Tech World London to showcase innovative start-ups who want to disrupt the status quo of HR.
Our esteemed judges (Marta Domańska, Máté Palicz, Peter Russell, Andrew Spence and yours truly) have narrowed the many entrants down to the top 5 who on Tuesday 21st at 11:30 will need to prove to the judges that they have what it takes to take on the status-quo of the HR tech industry. The winner takes away a £10,000 of sponsorship package for use at any of the HR Tech World shows in 2017. So, who has made the cut?

In no particular order, except in how I submit them for posting, here are the individual narratives on the 5 finalists…

  1. UNDERSTANDING YOUR EMPLOYEES MOTIVATIONAL PROFILE WITH FLOW

First disruptHR finalist blog – read on for my interview with co-founder Daniel Bodonyi on how FLOW aims to understand your employees culture fit from screening to engagement to churn.

  1. TURNING EMPLOYEE DATA INTO EFFECTIVE ACTION WITH WORKOMETRY

Here’s the second interview with disruptHR finalist Andrew Marritt. Andrew shares with me how Workometry has developed over the last year and why he’s looking forward to attending HR Tech World in a couple of weeks’ time

III. IT’S ALL IN WHAT YOU SAY WITH TEXTIO

The third interview features a fellow fearless female CEO and co-founder of Textio, Kieran Snyder. If you have ever queried your choice of words, read or written a job description, then it’s worth checking out Textio – an augmented writing platform that tells you how your writing will perform before you ever publish it.

  1. REVOLUTIONISING EMPLOYEE FEEDBACK WITH PEACHY MONDAYS

I first met serial entrepreneurs Gordon Adam and James Anderson last year when they first brought Peachy Mondays to HR Tech World. And what a journey they are on, this year reaching the final of the disruptHR competition. Click here to find out more about their mission to help businesses find better ways to create truly engaging workplaces.

  1. A GREAT EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE SAYS STAFFBASE

Staffbase is built on a firm belief that everyone has the right to love their job and the company they work for, and that communication is what cultivates the shared identity that engages people and makes them more productive. Staffbase, therefore, creates own branded communications apps for its customers – read the full interview to find out more.
