BOOSTING FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS IN CAMBRIDGE

Today is an exciting day! Business Weekly has announced the 9 contenders for this year’s coveted Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award and our founder Faye Holland is on this list.

We asked Faye what making the final cut means to her, and this is what she said:

“Being recognised as a finalist for the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award is amazing – especially somewhere as innovative as Cambridge. I already know two of the finalists (Anne Bailey and Michaela Eschbach from Form the Future) and have quickly connected on social media with the other six, extremely impressive ladies.

Recognising all women in the workplace, at any level, is something we all have a responsibility to do. We tip our hat to Business Weekly and Cambridge Judge Business School for having a category to celebrate those of us who are pursuing a range of ventures.”

Writing his Business Weekly articleTony Quested said:

“Among the early candidates for honours this year is Faye Holland, one of Cambridge’s top business and technology communicators. Since founding Cofinitive in 2015, Faye has become well respected on the Cambridge scene. She has created a fresh consultancy niche at the intersection between people, technology and communications, working with new market entrants and established businesses. Turnover has trebled with an aggressive plan to continuously expand the business. And the entrepreneurship doesn’t stop there – she advises us to “watch this space.”

Faye continues, “In the last 2 years since launching Cofinitive we have been very privileged to work with some inspiring clients locally and as women in the region, we have a lot to celebrate. We have an entire network of females who want to support each other’s development – the likes of Soraya Jones and Jane Galvin, and my clients include other feisty females Emma Fletcher, SmithsonHillJane Paterson-ToddCambridge Ahead and rising star Laura Lewis, Napp Pharmaceuticals, to name but a few. This award nomination is a celebration for us all!”

The finalists are Anne Bailey (Form the Future), Faye Holland (Cofinitive), Fiona Nielsen (DNAdigest and Repositive), Heather Richards (Transversal), Michaela Eschbach (Form the Future), Mona Shah (Harry Specters), Su Metcalfe (LIFNanoRx), Oriane Chausiaux (Heartfelt Technologies and Cambridge Temperature Concepts) and Trina Watt (Watt Knowledge). The Awards Presentation will take place on March 22nd 2017.
