A well-known and respected figure within Cambridge’s innovative business community, Faye influences and connects on a number of different levels.
A small business owner herself, she is founder and director of multi-award-winning PR and Marketing consultancy, cofinitive – listed as one of the ‘130 most influential businesses in Cambridge’ and ranked No 2 in Business Weekly’s prestigious 2020 ‘Image Makers’ listings.
She is the co-founder of the proactive Impact Women’s Network, which boasts a network of 900+ female professionals united in raising the public visibility of impactful women and instigating even greater change together.
Faye is also the creator of the highly successful #21toWatch Awards, which has further cemented her position as a key influencer in the region. The annual campaign focuses on showcasing the most daring entrepreneurs, startups and their ground-breaking innovations from across Cambridgeshire, helping to raise their profile and opportunities.
Speaking about her new appointment, Faye said: “It’s never been more important for small- and medium-sized businesses to have a voice, and so I am especially proud to be taking on such an important new role at this time. Covid-19, Brexit, European workers in our region, our circular economy: these are all issues at the top of the agenda, which need addressing urgently.
“My priority is to ensure that the needs and concerns of Cambridge and South Cambs SMEs and other key Cambridge businesses are appropriately represented and reflected in our local and regional decision-making processes – and that our cohesive business voice is clearly heard.”
“I am looking forward to engaging with local decision makers, collaborating with other groups in Cambridge’s extensive network scene and working to improve and facilitate the sustainability and growth of our local supply chain.”
Faye is taking on this position, and her role on the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce Board, with immediate effect.
John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said of the appointment: “Faye is known for her drive and passion and has a wealth of experience across a number of very relevant sectors. Even more importantly, she understands first-hand the wants and needs of our local businesses, as well as the challenges they face. I am absolutely delighted to be welcoming her to the Cambridgeshire Chamber Board and the Cambridge and South Cambs Committee.”
