As 2018 goes on, we are going from strength to strength and now find ourselves with buckets of work (those pesky clients as our Founder cheekily says)! Which means we are looking for the right person to join us as our company expands. People who know us know that we are an articulate chameleon, with its “pants on fire”. We are a feisty corporate communications consultancy that packs a punch.

To join our team, you will have that special something that makes you different and helps you #BeCofinitive. In exchange, you will be involved in wide range of marketing and business activities (including communications strategy, event management, social media, public relations, database marketing, business development, client relationship management and more) at a growth company that is challenging the status quo and helping our clients disrupt on many levels.

Since January 2015, we’ve developed as a top image-maker in the region, winning awards and growing our reputation with bold messaging and hotfooting it in and around Cambridgeshire to give both technology companies and governing parties a voice. We don’t just deliver results, we take people on a journey which has meant most of our clients start as a project and become retained clients. We’re different in that we look for that burning intensity, passion and drive, for people whose “pants are on fire”.

The business provides marketing communications consultancy and implementation services that intersect between people, technology and communications. One day the work will be organising an industry event, the next reviewing market data on economic growth, the next developing an AgriTech plan or maybe briefing a design agency on a new website, the next preparing a speech for a conference on employee engagement or developing a communications strategy for a product launch. The breadth of experience that will be offered is interesting, varied and fulfilling.

The role will be fundamentally in strategy, communications and marketing, but will also feature heavily across other areas such as research and business development.  You will be a confident professional, able to hold your own in all business situations, happy to network and have business development conversations. As such you are likely to have a number of years’ experience under your belt. You will be able to make recommendations to our clients covering fully integrated communications – but you will also be open to learning how to #BeCofinitive.  We’ll want to see evidence that you can ‘walk the talk’ with examples of recent integrated campaigns with a spark of something really interesting.

As a small team, personal accountability is critical, as well as attention to detail and an ability to ‘muck in’ wherever it is needed.  You need to be excellent at execution as well as a strategy super-star.  We are looking for that special someone to help us take Cofinitive to the next level, and as a reward you will get to be part of a fast-paced, fun team that is making an impact across our region.

If you are a recruiter then please don’t send us any CV’s – we want someone a little bit different who is up for a real challenge.

If you know us already, contact us to have a chat about it.  If you are interested in applying, contact our recruitment team at Whitehill Pelham.
