Faye’s Way: A Strategy That Pays Off!
Our founder, Faye Holland is the cover girl of IQ magazine this month, sharing some strategic business nous and wisdom or what is otherwise termed “the secrets of her success”. We are delighted!
The article celebrates Faye’s ‘Good Samaritan’ style of working and solid pay-it-forward ethos. It is an approach that Faye has long recognised and encouraged, and it has certainly stood her in good stead long before Covid-19 dictated a ‘new’, more generous, collaborative way of working.
At cofinitive, we pay our successes forward. Always have done. Always will do. Every single member of the team actively contributes to the pay-it-forward community in one way or another – either by sitting on boards, participating in panels, supporting charities, driving networks, or inspiring the upcoming generation. We are happy to help anyone who might just need a helping hand along the way – be it a small, innovative startup at the start of their ground-breaking mission or a big conglomerate who has simply lost their direction and connection.
At cofinitive, we lead from the front. And we lead by example. Whether that’s with the free comms clinic for startups that we hold at The Bradfield Centre every month (currently via Zoom). Or the annual #21toWatch Awards that we run, coordinate and stage, and which, to date, has promoted almost 1,000 ground-breaking startups, entrepreneurs and innovations, and provided them with significant PR exposure for future growth and investment.
We are fiercely proud that the ‘Faye Way’ has meant that our multi-award-winning agency has continued to flourish through the pandemic. And that, for us, every day has been business as usual, working flat out to ensure that our clients get the best strategic advice and broadest intensive promotion.
Says Faye: “The cofinitive team are absolute rock stars in what we consistently deliver but we are also good people wanting to do the right thing. And we are immensely proud to have worked with some amazing innovators during these recent months.
“The vision has always been to deliver impactful communications for companies poised to make a difference in the world. It just makes the journey a little bit nicer when you are helping people out – and that’s why we do it.
“However, we remain feisty. If someone knocks on our door and wants us to work on something we don’t agree with, we either work with them to change it or we say no. But that’s integrity for you: following your ethical convictions and doing the right thing in all circumstances, even if no one is watching. If you work with us, this is what you can expect. We only ever accept work that sits comfortably with our values.”
