We are proud to announce that we are Commercial Partners of Cambridge United Women’s Football Club.

After the success of the Lionesses, it’s an exciting time for women’s football across the country and at Cambridge United. Women’s football has a huge impact on the community and as pay-it-forward is one of our core values we feel strongly about supporting business and community groups across the region, like Cows about Cambridge which we sponsored last year.

The Cows about Cambridge initiative was a free public art trail to raise funds for Break, which is a charity that makes life better for vulnerable people and families across East Anglia.

Cambridge United recently took steps to fully integrate the women’s team into the club, and create a women’s board. This means that the women’s team will play four of their league matches at the Abbey Stadium this season.

With more local fixtures it gives us the chance to invite our network of connections to enjoy a game of football, one of the most popular sports to watch and play in the UK. Earlier this month, more than 17 million people tuned in to watch England beat Germany in the women’s European Championship final.

Neil Rowe, Commercial Manager at Cambridge United, said “I would like to thank Faye and the whole team at cofinitive for specifically supporting Cambridge United Women this season as an official Commercial Partner. The support from sponsors is an important part of the overall strategy to grow the Women’s game. In cofinitive, we have a secured a partner that is passionate about growing the game and the local community. We look forward to the start of a long-term partnership in what is an exciting time for Women’s Football”
