Cofinitive is the first new member of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce of 2019

We’re pleased to announce that we’re the first new member of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce of 2019

As a local company we’re committed to supporting Cambridge business and we strongly believe that being part of a collective voice is good for Cambridge; it’s one of the reasons we wanted to join the Chamber.

Last year’s Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Economic review (CPIER), to which the Chamber contributed, highlighted a number of risks affecting business in and around Cambridge. Cofinitive’s founder Faye Holland, provided the project management and engagement services to CPIER and saw first-hand the critical importance of businesses of all sizes contributing to such reviews. Faye states “We want to amplify the recommendations made in CPIER and see membership of the Chamber as a key way to continue this momentum.”

We’re looking forward to collaborating more with the Chamber now that we’re members. Last year, John Bridge OBE, Chair of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, delivered the keynote address at the first Cambridge China Forum, an event we produced with the Cambridge China Centre (also a Chamber member). John talked about the integration of industry, academia and research and Cambridge’s expertise in attracting top talent. The Forum attracted over 130 Chinese and English industry leaders, scientific experts and government officials and was a valuable opportunity for businesses and organisations to connect and to hear from some of the most successful businesses in and around Cambridge.

This is a prime example of how we would like to work with the Chamber to benefit the business community;  through the sharing of insights and knowledge as well as directly supporting a young organisation like the Cambridge China Centre.

Faye summarised “We have been told we are ‘networking experts’ so it makes sense to join one of the biggest networks in the UK, as well as here locally across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority area. And with our global portfolio of clients, we’re hoping to add value to both the Chamber and their members over the coming years.”
